Zeiszler Chiropractic Clinic Hosting Food Drive to Benefit Area Needy During Holiday Season

Local Citizens Are Giving Food To Receive Better Health.

APPLE VALLEY – With increasing prices in food and fuel coupled with increased joblessness, home foreclosures and the ups and downs on Wall Street, area food banks are feeling the strain.  Not only do they have to find a way to meet the needs of families in crisis with lower than usual donations, they are also dealing with increasing numbers of non-traditional food pantry clients that consist of more formerly independent senior citizens, more people who own houses and more people who used to call themselves “middle-class” – those who are not used to fretting over the price of milk. 

With the needs rising and the Holidays fast approaching, the team at Zeiszler Chiropractic Clinic decided that they needed to devise a way to help as many people in the community as possible, and determined the time was right to host a Food Drive.

From November 3^rd through November 21^st, new patients are invited to a FREE day of initial services at Zeiszler Chiropractic Clinic.  For a donation of a minimum of 10 canned goods or other non-perishable items, participants can get a FREE consultation, examination and x-rays if needed.  An adjustment however, would need to be scheduled for a different appointment with standard fees applicable.  To take part in Zeiszler Chiropractic Clinic’s special offer, a person only needs to call their office at 952-432-0700 to schedule an appointment for a FREE day of initial services. 

In addition, existing Zeiszler Chiropractic Clinic patients are also invited to take part in the Food Drive, and for a donation of 10 canned goods or non-perishable items, they can receive a FREE extra adjustment.  All food items collected throughout the drive will be donated to the Community Action Council.

“Right here in the Twin Cities area, many families are facing a Holiday Season with the question of how they are going to feed their families.  We are dedicated to helping with that and that’s why we are asking the public to help us help others,” said Dr. Eric Zeiszler.  “It is truly better to give than receive and that is why we are asking for help to feed the children and families who need it most this Holiday Season right here at home.”
